Windows Wireless : Windows 8 and 10

 

First,  go to the bottom right-hand of your desktop and click on the wireless icon in your taskbar.

In the Networks menu choose "View connection properties"...


 

Under the Security tab,  Enter the information as seen below. (Select Microsoft: Protected EAP(PEAP).)

 Then Click  "Settings"...


 

 Under Settings enter settings as seen below; (Uncheck "Verify the server's identity...")

Then Click "Configure"...


 

Uncheck "Automatically use my Windows Logon... "

Then click "Ok" to close this window, and "Ok" again to return to the Network Properties window ... 

 

 


Cick The "Advanced Settings" button and specify Authentication mode to 'User Authentication'...

Then click OK, then click OK again and exit out of all the setting dialoques. 


 

Finally, return to the wireless signal icon in your taskbar and choose the KCAI signal ... 

Check the "Connect automatically" to save your settings for future use on campus. 


 

Enter your KCAI username , same as your email user (no kcai.edu necessary ) and password, then click  OK.

 


 

TADA!!!   You should now be connected to the KCAI on-campus wireless signal.  Exceptions are CPS, FIBER, and the SLC. For wireless information for these buildings, see an instructor or staff member in that building.
